OPPORTUNITY
As Issue Management Lead for Sunny, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across multiple functional areas. Your responsibilities will include logging issues, determining their root cause and impact, developing resolution plans, implementing solutions, and monitoring the issue’s closure and prevention of future occurrences. You will provide knowledge in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas based on established project management techniques. Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope. May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope, project plan and performance expectations.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with Sunny’s strategic objectives
- Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders
- Apply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project communication plans
- Communicate project status and track status of all projects you are managing
- Oversee the entire issue management process: From identification to resolution and follow-up
- Assesses the aggregate impact of issues: To understand their impact on objectives and overall viability
- Monitors progress and performance: Tracks the progress of open issues and intervene when needed
- Facilitate meetings or incident reviews: To discuss issues and brainstorm solutions with relevant teams.
- Ensures clear and timely communication: Between teams, stakeholders, and upper management during issue resolution and escalation.
- Maintains accurate records in issue tracking systems: Ensuring clear documentation and transparency.
- Implementing measures to prevent the issue from recurring in the future
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of project management in an Operations environment or Issue Management
- Experience with project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Salesforce, or related)
- Experience managing projects of small to medium scope
- Experience managing multiple projects at the same time (2-6 at various stages)
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Demonstrated excellence in communicating clearly and concisely, including accurate program updates and details
Preferred:
- Experience in fintech, healthcare, or compliance-heavy environments
- PMP or other project management certification
- Exhibit grace under pressure
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing priorities
