OPPORTUNITY
As Payment & Benefits Card Manager you will play a critical role in managing Sunny’s custom debit card packages throughout their development and fulfillment lifecycle. This includes overseeing the design, approval, translation, print, and fulfillment processes to ensure smooth execution and optimal member experience.
This individual will serve as a day-to-day point of contact, interfacing with internal Sunny teams and external partners such as Bancorp and FIS to navigate the complexities of multi-package approval processes at varying stages. Exceptional attention to detail and expertise in managing card packages within the healthcare benefits industry will be key to success in this role.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end fulfillment process for custom debit card packages, including design, approval, translation, printing, and fulfillment.
- Manage multiple card packages at different stages of progression, ensuring each meets strict timelines and quality standards.
Partner Coordination:
- Collaborate with key partners, including Bancorp and FIS, to streamline approval processes and resolve issues.
- Act as a primary liaison to ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external vendors.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain rigorous attention to detail to ensure all card packages meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Establish quality control processes to identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for operational improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Work cross-functionally with Sunny teams to ensure all processes align with company objectives and timelines.
Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of card packages, inventory levels, risks, and resolutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all card package processes and approvals.
REQUIRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience managing card packages in the healthcare benefits industry, preferably with experience working with Bancorp, FIS, or similar partners.
- Strong understanding of the complexities of card approval and fulfillment processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of managing projects with accuracy and precision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to adjust or move self and light or medium weight objects in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
- In the event of a workplace incident, agreeance to submit to testing for the detection of drugs and/or alcohol
- Completion of a criminal background check inclusive of a motor vehicle report
PREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in healthcare technology or fintech environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for healthcare and financial products.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in benefits design, healthcare technology and/or startup companies.
- Strong communication skills, exhibiting grace under pressure.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing priorities.
- Intrinsic motivation and commitment to quality work.
