OPPORTUNITY

As a Digital Program Design Manager for Sunny, you will be an integral part of the Sunny Benefits program design team. You will develop and drive client benefits and rewards programs from design to reality. The primary function of the role is to curate program designs, manage deliverables for successful implementation and monitor program success. You will work across the organization to support the evolution of the product. The ideal candidate will combine their expertise in program design and healthcare with the ability to align program designs to client goals and objectives.


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Design Management:

  • Serve as the primary support for benefits and rewards program design development and associated deliverables.
  • Understand and apply behavioral science, health behavior theory and healthcare engagement best practices to support effective and innovative program designs with the consumer in mind.
  • Ensure programs drive consumer engagement and satisfaction, support retention and growth, impact cost of care, improve stars ratings, encourage healthy behaviors and/or other prioritized client goals.
  • Apply data analytics to translate program performance into actionable insights to strategically help evolve programs and product.
  • Leverage critical thinking skills to understand the impact of program design on product solutions.
  • Engage with clients to present program design deliverables as needed.
  • Propose solutions to business issues that impact program design, delivery, and implementation as well as product evolution

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, client success and operations to ensure successful program execution.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to track program design deliverables, program interdependencies and client feedback for configuration.
  • Collaborate with Operations to support and validate program related services.
  • Collaborate with Product to identify and recommend enhancements to elevate program design and consumer experience.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • As a client program SME, serves as the primary point of contact for program design interdependencies.
  • Effectively communicate the program designs, deliverables, risks, and achievements.

REQUIRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health promotion, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health and wellbeing program/product design or management.
  • Experience working in a health plan, total rewards, health tech and/or financial technology.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and managing program deliverables successfully in a complex, matrixed environment working across departments for on-time delivery.
  • Proven record of developing successful programs.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure program designs translate across the business.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional communication skills to share information clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive collaboration.
  • Support ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Ability to adjust or move self and light or medium weight objects in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
  • In the event of a workplace incident, agreeance to submit to testing for the detection of drugs and/or alcohol
  • Completion of a criminal background check inclusive of a motor vehicle report

  • Experience in healthcare, benefit design, and/or startup companies.
  • Exhibit grace under pressure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing priorities.
